Our Vision
Upon moving from San Antonio to Pleasanton, God gave us a vision to build a Prayer and Reflection Park, a place that offers grace and peace to all who come to spend time among trees whose 350 years of silence remind us how to communicate by listening.
Our Trees
Hidden for years by overgrowth, each tree at the Center now bears a biblical name and a Scripture that matches the majesty it depicts. According to our arborist from San Antonio, every tree here is between 350 and 400 years old.

Blessed Land Ministries is a United States ministry devoted to prayer, reflection, and faith in action here in South Texas. The Atascosa Center for Grace and Peace is its home in Pleasanton: a place where ancient oaks, quiet paths, and Scripture invite every visitor to slow down and listen for God.
Our calling does not stop at the tree line. We believe prayer should become service, and reflection should become care for our neighbors. That conviction is behind our proposed Pleasanton Community Garden, an effort to help feed low-income seniors in our own community.

Faith in Action
A proposed community garden for Pleasanton
We are exploring a community garden to serve low-income seniors in Pleasanton, grounded in the call of James 2:15-17 to care for the physical needs of our neighbors. The vision centers on an unused portion of the Center's land that lies in a 100-year floodplain and is partly covered by a water drainage easement, so the first step is confirming site suitability with local floodplain officials. This effort is in its earliest stage, and we are inviting conversation with local churches and organizations who share that heart.
